I am just a girl who is passionate about feeling good. I strive daily to stay active, eat well, and enjoy life. I also struggle daily with a twisting spine and all that such a thing brings.
When pain pills made me sick, I tried medicinal cannabis. So much better. The journey of being a cannabis patient and learning how to use it as a food and medicine has sparked the health coach in me to tell whoever this reaches about the health benefits of cannabis and hemp.
Since my teen years I have been a fitness trainer, yoga instructor, and now health coach. I love watching people transform when they add something like food, exercise, or cannabis to experience a body that is more comfortable to live in.
I am here to share my experiences and findings as a medicinal cannabis patient and write positive things about this powerful superfood and medicine! Thank you for sharing this experience with me.

Hi Maria, I take freshly picked raw leaves and juice it or blend it. Unless it has been heated to convert the THCA to THC it doesn’t make you sleepy or ‘high’. I have been able to replace my daytime edibles with raw cannabis. Thanks for the great question! -TB

Hello!
I find your blog very informative and I highly respect your stance on the medical benefits of cannabis. And, the recipes you post sound amazing! I was very intrigued with your recipes on hemp turtle bites and peanut butter fudge!
I am actually working on an article that features the top websites for cannabis infused edibles on our site and I would really like twicebakedinwashington to be a part of it! I hope you can send me an email so we can talk about this more! Can’t wait to hear from you!

Hi Nikki,
Weigh it. 1 Teaspoon is often about 1 gram. I’m really bad about measuring! I’ll work on that. 🙂

Hi Paloma, At this time you can still buy cannabis clones from medical cannabis collectives if you have a doctor’s authorization. Buying raw material is not really possible, as far as I know. Good luck!

Hello!
I love your blog.
Do you know of any recreational dispensaries in Seattle that offer the Remedy strain? I have been dying to try it. I have severe sleeping issues, and I don’t like the effects of THC, but love the effects of CBD.
Thanks!

Hi Nathan, I can’t name any off the top of my head. I have found the Remedy strain repeatedly at the cannabis farmer’s markets that are currently still operating in WA until the mmj laws change. Best of luck, its a great strain! -TwiceBakedinWA

Hi there! I love your blog! I’m the founder of Ganja Yoga, and I’d love to either do a Q&A with you on your blog, or a skype cannabis-enhanced yoga class with you, or something? What do you think? Best, Dee http://www.deedussault.com – ganjayogasf@gmail.com

Do people who do not have medical symptoms drink raw cannabis juice as a dietary supplement?
Posted by TwiceBaked in Washington on January 6, 2016 at 1:58 pm
Hi Hovila, anybody can consume raw cannabis juice for the health benefits like any other superfood. Now if it could be legalized for people to have access…

An amazing woman! To be able to live with such terrible pain everyday and maintain such a positive attitude is only one example of what we can expect from Cannabis instead of pharmaceutical drugs. Thanks for sharing with us your knowing of juicing and your delicious hemp recipes.

I passed your business card along to someone who would benefit from your knowledge so I am without your contact details. My home office is just off Weyerhauser Way if it is closer to you. Tag – you’re it!
